Consular Fees Schedule

• All fees may be subject to change without notice and are non-refundable.
• All U.S. Consular fees worldwide are established in U.S. dollars (USD). For some common consular services we have listed the Papua New Guinean kina (PGK) equivalent on the relevant fee information web page.
• The U.S. Embassy does not, under any circumstance, accept cash sent through the mail.

Accepted Forms of Payment at U.S. Embassy Consular Office in Port Moresby Papua New Guinea.

               
All consular services fees must be paid at the U.S. Embassy Consular Section on the day you submit an application for any such services provided.

Description of forms of payment

Cash

Either U.S. or Papua New Guinean currency

• The U.S. Embassy accepts U.S. or Papua New Guinean currency in the exact amount however; change is also available in either currency.

Bank Check

Either U.S. or Papua New Guinean currency, payable to “U.S. Embassy Port Moresby”. Personal or company checks will not be accepted.

Post Money Order

Either U.S. or Papua New Guinean currency, payable to “ U.S. Embassy Port Moresby”. Personal or company checks will not be accepted.

Credit Card

• Visa, Master Card, American Express, Diners or Discovers.
• Credit Card payments must be tendered in person.
• All credit card transactions are processed in the U.S. dollars. The actual amount charged to your credit card will reflect the bank’s exchange and, possibly a transaction fee
